Say goodbye to diesel pollution: into a clean and sustainable future with our DKS-B7/-B10 HVO Blend
Diesel plague, a well-known problem for diesel engines, will soon be a thing of the past. With our new diesel blend “DKS-B7/HVO” and “DKS-B10/HVO”, which contains a proportion of 7% or 10% certified Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), we are setting new standards in terms of sustainability and fuel quality. The innovative fuel is not only up to 6% or 9% CO₂-neutral, but also offers a solution to the challenges of diesel pollution – a problem that has concerned many vehicle and tank owners for years.
What is the diesel plague?
Diesel plague is caused by the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, yeasts and molds in diesel fuel. These organisms form a viscous bio-sludge that clogs filters and pipes and leads to malfunctions. Tanks with a long service life, such as boats, motorhomes or emergency generators, are particularly affected. In addition to blockages, corrosion damage can occur to tank walls and fuel systems.
DKS-B7/-B10/HVO: The solution against diesel plague
Our diesel blends “DKS-B7/-B10HVO” integrate certified HVO (up to 96% CO₂ savings on the HVO content), an environmentally friendly fuel made from renewable raw materials such as waste and residual materials. HVO is characterized by its high oxidation and storage stability, which makes it particularly resistant to microbial infestation. The paraffinic structure of HVO also effectively prevents the formation of bio-sludge.
Advantages of DKS-B7/-B10 at a glance:
- Up to 6 % or 9 % CO₂-neutral through the use of certified HVO.
- High storage stability – ideal for tanks with long service lives.
- Reduced pollutant emissions and clean combustion.
- Effective protection against microbial damage and corrosion.
Sustainability meets efficiency
With DKS-B7/-B10, we are making a contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions in the transport sector. The HVO it contains enables almost CO₂-neutral combustion and significantly reduces pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter. At the same time, the performance of the fuel remains at the usual high level – without modifications to existing engines.
Delivery capability from the second half of 2025
“We are working flat out to bring DKS-B7/-B10 to market. The market launch is planned for the second half of 2025. We will soon be able to offer you a sustainable alternative to conventional diesel that not only protects your vehicles, but also the environment,” emphasizes CEO Massimo Romagnoli.
Conclusion: A new era for diesel
With DKS-B7/-B10, we are finally saying goodbye to the diesel plague and setting our sights on a clean future. This innovative fuel combines sustainability, efficiency and protection against microbial damage – a real revolution for diesel engines. Stay tuned for more information on the market launch!
